We realize this is fake... but can we all agree that this version of Beetlejuice 2 MUST happen? In a new video from Funny or Die, American Pie and Orange is the New Black star Natasha Lyonne picks up where Michael Keaton left off in the 1988 Tim Burton-directed film Beetlejuice.

In the below video for Beetlejuice 2, Lyonne can be seen performing some of the most famous scenes from a number of Hollywood's most beloved films... mainly because the new film's director, Barry Burton (brother to Tim Burton), found himself a winning formula to writing an A+ script –– stealing from the best directors around!

"Good directors always steal from the best," Burton notes. "So that's what I did. I put in a lot of fun homages to some of my favorite movies that I think you'll like..."

Check out Lyonne in Beetlejuice 2 below:

You may be thinking why Natasha Lyonne? Well, why not?, Or, of course, we could go with Burton's words. "Because she's the fiery f*cking redhead on the prison sex movie Orange is the New Jack." Or... something like that.

Like we said, it's fake, but we totally wouldn't mind seeing this version of Beetlejuice 2 online (for free) sometime in the future! And let's just hope Flashjuice, Beetle Velvet and Scarjuice are included!

Now, if we really need to jog your mind, the original Beetlejuice was released back in 1988 and starred Michael Keaton as the title character along with Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis and Winona Ryder. Check out the trailer for Beetlejuice here:
