'Hail, Casar!' Plot Details & SPOILERS - George Clooney & Coen Brothers' New Comedy Sets 2016 Release Date

Earlier this year, we learned that acclaimed filmmakers Joel and Ethan Coen (AKA the Coen Brothers) would team up once again with Hollywood superstar George Clooney for a new comedy entitled Hail, Caesar!. This week, the new project received a February 5, 2016 release date, and some new plot details were revealed as well! (SPOILERS to follow)

According to Inside Movies and Slash Film, Hail, Caesar! centers on Golden Age Hollywood executive Eddie Mannix and also stars Josh Brolin, Ralph Fiennes, Channing Tatum, Scarlett Johansson, Tilda Swinton, and Jonah Hill.

We're assuming that this will definitely be one of the most anticipated movies of 2016. You can check out a synopsis of the film over at Deadline.

As an added incentive to pay attention to this movie, according to the trio, this new film would be part of the "idiot trilogy" that they've loosely created, connecting to other Clooney-lead films O, Brother Where Art Thou? and Intolerable Cruelty. The films aren't directly related, but Clooney's characters in each are the focal points of the films, even if they're a bit dimwitted.
