The first-ever comprehensive biography of pop diva Beyonce Knowles will be released in the fall of 2015, publisher Grand Central Books announced. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the untitled book will "explore all facets of Knowles' life," beginning with her childhood performances, exploring her time with Destiny's Child, her solo career and her marriage to Jay Z.

Biographer J. Randy Taraborrelli, who will write the book, is no stranger to the A-list-celebrity profile; his subjects over the last three decades have included Diana Ross, Frank Sinatra, Madonna, and most famously, Michael Jackson.

"Beyoncé has lived a most incredible, inspiring life. I know my readers will enjoy her journey," Taraborrelli said in a statement.

Knowles is not participating in the unauthorized book. Taraborrelli is relying on interviews with people "who have been pivotal to her personal and professional development." According to Time Magazine, the word "unauthorized" suggests that we should probably take the book with some skepticism, because Queen Bey won't have signed off on the story it spins.

But the fact that she has so tightly controlled her image until now leaves one wondering which version requires taking more grains of salt: the one she's approved or the one she hasn't? Fans constantly question Beyonce and Jay Z's signs of affection toward each other, wondering if the smiles are genuine, or if it's all a publicity stunt, staged to counter the tabloids' insistence on "trouble in paradise." Time therefore concludes that the unauthorized biography will probably tell us more about Beyonce than the authorized one ever could. We can't argue there.

Beyonce just wrapped up her On the Run tour with Jay Z. An HBO special documenting the tour's journey through Paris recently aired on September 20. Her self-titled album is currently the top-selling record of 2014. It has moved nearly 800,000 copies this year after being unexpectedly released in late 2013. With unauthorized biography or not, Beyonce's reign shows no signs of letting up.
