While we're all celebrating our Halloween in different ways, it looks like the anchors of NBC's TODAY Show are having a heck of a lot of fun! Earlier this morning, Matt Lauer, Al Roker, Natalie Morales, Tamron Hall, Willie Geist, Kathie Lee Gifford, Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie (almost off her maternity leave) delighted the NYC plaza by choosing to honor 40 years of Saturday Night Live –– dressing like some of the series' most famous characters over the years.

Kicking off the segment with the help of current SNL player Kenan Thompson (playing the role of Today weatherman, Al Roker), the anchors displayed a wonderful take on the sketch's show's opening credits... putting their names into the mix, of course.

Afterwards, the crew took to the plaza and performed in a number of sketches, including the hyped up Spartan Cheerleaders (Geist and Hall) originally made famous by Will Ferrell and Cheri OteriMolly Shannon's schoolgirl klutz Mary Katherine Gallagher (Morales); Roker as the Blues Brothers; everyone's favorite basement talk show hosts from Wayne's World (Gifford and Kotb); a parody of SNL's famous Mom Jeans commercial parody (Guthrie); and Julia Sweeney's famous character Pat, who was played by Lauer.

It's safe to say that the sketches totally took the Today Show players out of their element. And despite a few bits of minute awkwardness, it's obvious they were all having a hell of a good time!
