VH1 reality star, Tameka "Tiny" Harris opened up about her new ice-gray implants to Good Morning America. The "Family Hustle" star explained why she went to Africa to get the procedure done, what she thinks about the criticism, and how her husband, rapper T.I. feels bout her new look.

While the risky surgery is illegal in the United States, the former Xscape singer says she decide to take the leap of faith and travel to Africa for the serious procedure,

"They told me that procedure would be quick. It's five-to-ten minutes an eye. They woke me up and it's very blurry then it just comes-fades in, I looked in the mirror and I as like they're amazing. I love them," she said.

When asked what she thought about the "self hate" comments, she said, "I just wanted to do something different. I have the right to do that. It's my body." She revealed T.I. even was skeptical about the procedure, "He was like what are you doing? He loves them. E's ok with them. As long as their healthy. I'm not having any problems."

Early this week, "Tiny" confirmed on her official Instagram page that she got her eye color changed with implants.

She posted a photo of her new look on her Instagram page and captioned, "I permanently changed my eye color with Brightocular and lovin it!! Thank you Dr. Montasser Menif for the amazing experience and for making my dream come true! I hated wearing contacts just for the color and it made my vision blurry! Blessed to say my vision is #perfect after my #ice-gray implants! Special thanks to #Spencer Vessa for ALL that you've done to make this process happen, you're amaZing & thank you #Faiza for your exceptional customer service."
