TLC's 19 Kids and Counting star Jessa Duggar is following up her sister Jill Duggar's recent wedding with one of her own, and we take you into her rehearsal dinner before the big day!
"When I look at all the faces surrounding us tonight," Ben Seewald, Jill's fiance, now husband, told the guests at the pre-nuptuals dinner. "I don't know how to thank all of you for investing in our lives, and in our life together. Y'all make us feel so special."
It was only a short three-month engagement for the reality couple after Ben's intricate scavenger hunt proposal. TLC will air the proposal and all the preparations that went into it Tuesday, Nov. 4.
"Jessa said, 'You can make planning a wedding really complicated or you can make it simple, and she chose simple,'" Jessa's father Jim Bob Duggar told People. "We're so excited for them."
TLC even posted a video on its website of Jim Bob and wife Michelle Duggar talking about their feelings about Jessa getting married the next day.
"In a few hours, she's not gonna be Duggar anymore," Jim Bob said.
"She'll be Jessa Seewald," Michelle chimed in. "And I think it really hit me, Daddy, was when I was at the house and she was packing all of her things up in the room and I'm like, 'Jessa! You're getting married! You're moving out of the girls' room.'"
"She'll be on her honeymoon by tomorrow night," Jim Bob replied.
Jessa and Ben's courtship had been captured on the TLC series, with Ben moving onto the Duggars's property to get to know the family more, but the couple kept to their strict chaperone and no-kissing guidelines.
