If you didn't think Tom Cruise was crazy before... just wait until you see these pictures! It's been talked about in the past that the Mission: Impossible star does all of his own stunts. And while that may seem like hyperbole to some, it's apparently totally true. Tom Cruise REALLY does do all of his own stunts... including hanging out of a moving airplane that's 5,000 feet in the air for an upcoming Mission: Impossible 5 shoot. Want some proof? See below!

Reports from TMZ state (and show) that Cruise was filming a scene for the upcoming Mission: Impossible film. And instead of using a stunt double for the shot, the actor opted to hang out of the plane himself. Which makes total sense... right? Oh, it doesn't? Well apparently you've never heard of Tom Cruise before.

While you can't see him at first glance, if you look closely at the man hanging just behind the wing, you'll see him. Check out the below photo posted to TMZ's twitter account.

Yes, it's really Tom Cruise. It seems safe to say that stunt doubles are totally useless to him.

While Cruise definitely has a harness attached to him – let's be honest, the Mission: Impossible franchise can't take too many risks with the actor – it's still a pretty badass move. Or a stupid one... hard to decide. We guess there's a fine line.

So, can we all now agree that Tom Cruise is indeed crazy?

Cruise was recently seen in Edge of Tomorrow, which he starred in alongside Emily Blunt. The new Mission: Impossible 5 film is scheduled to be released sometime in 2015.
