Today is National Sandwich Day and you know what that means ... you should eat a sandwich while watching TV episodes about sandwiches! We have the top five TV episodes all about a sandwich that you should definitely watch while eating a classic PB&J or turkey sandwich tonight.

First up, Glee's "Grilled Cheesus" episode. This hilarious sandwich-inspired storyline is from season two, episode three. When Finn (played by Corey Monteith) has a crisis he imagines he see the face of Jesus in his grilled cheese sandwich. It is glorious. When he scores a touchdown, he even thanks "Grilled Cheesus" as he calls the sandwich for helping him.

The second must-watch sandwich TV episode comes from Sex and the City. "Running with Scissors" is season three, episode 11 and it involves a man in a sandwich costume. At first Miranda (played by Cynthia Nixon) has a fear of the man in the sandwich suit who utters the words "eat me" when she walks past him on the street, but the fear quickly turns to intrigue.

Next on our list is one of two Friends episodes that made the cut. In "The One with the Ride Along," from season five, episode 20, Joey (played by Matt LeBlanc) gets very protective of his sandwich. When the guys go for a ride-along with Phoebe's boyfriend, a car backfires and Joey jumps on Ross (played by David Schwimmer) to protect him. In actuality, he was actually just saving his meatball sub, which was next to Ross.

The fourth episode on our list is actually about a calzone, but we consider calzones to be the sandwich of Italian food. "The Calzone" is from Seinfeld season seven, episode 20. When George (played by Jason Alexander) eats a giant calzone during a work meeting he sparks Mr. Steinbrenner's interest and they start eating them daily, until George can no longer get them.

Last but certainly not least, Friends' episode "The One With Ross's Sandwich" from season five episode nine. This is one of the greatest episodes of Friends ever and it happens to include a hilarious storyline about Ross and his sandwich. After Ross brings his leftover Thanksgiving sandwich to work and it is eaten, he loses his mind. He even gets put on sabbatical after his outburst frightens his boss.
