Angelina Jolie is one of the biggest movie stars in Hollywood but finds time for social activism and even recently to get married to longtime love Brad Pitt after nine years as a couple.

"It does feel different," the Maleficent star told Vanity Fair's December issue, referring to being married. "It feels nice to be husband and wife."

Angelina and Brad were married in France, which caught the public totally off-guard. The ceremony was a family affair that included Brad's parents and their six kids: Maddox, 13, Pax, 10, Zahara, 9, Shiloh, 8, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 6.

"We were all going to have a wedding," she said of the two weeks before the wedding. "There was no cake, so Pax made a cake. The kids made little pillows for the rings and Knox practiced [being a ring bearer] with an acorn that kept falling off the pillow. Brad's mom [Jane Pitt] went and picked some flowers and tied them up."

The Hollywood power couple even let their kids have a part in the vows.

"They did not expect us never to fight, but they made us promise to always say 'Sorry' if we do," she continued. "So they said, 'Do you?' and we said, 'We do!'"

Those vows were important to the family, according to a source just after news of the secret ceremony broke.

"Brad and Angie said handwritten vows telling each other how much they love each other and their beautiful family and they both had tears in their eyes as did everyone else," the source told E! News. "It was short but loaded with meaning, and it was a lovely way to start life in their new family home now that the building work is finally finished."
