Jessa Duggar's Wedding: Kirk Cameron Attends '19 Kids & Counting' Stars Nuptials To Ben Seewald

The Duggar wedding was a star-studded event that brought out some pretty big names. Former Growing Pains actor Kirk Cameron revealed that he was at the wedding of 19 Kids and Counting star Jessa Duggar and her now husband Ben Seewald. The two said "I do" in a ceremony that took place over the weekend in their hometown of Bentonville, Arkansas.

According to Kirk Cameron's Facebook page, him and his family including his daughter were invited to the ceremony and the rehearsal dinner for the couple. Kirk says that he was so honored to attend the ceremony and to show his daughters what it meant to save your first kiss for marriage.

"We flew to the Duggar's hometown, not only to be part of the fun and excitement of honoring this precious couple, but as a father, I want my daughters to see what it looks like when a couple reserves their 'first kiss' for at the alter," the star wrote in the Facebook post. "Wow! This kind of moral excellence and purity is rare today, but our sons and daughters are priceless. This dad has only a few year to etch these meaningful images on the minds of his children."

Part of being a guest at the wedding was that no one was allowed to divulge any information to the press, but Us Weekly did learn that the couple saved their first kiss for after the wedding as a way for them to have privacy from the wedding goers.

However, it doesn't look like the details on the after party were kept as under wrap as the nuptials as Kirk explained details of the reception.

"We were invited to the Duggar's house after for volleyball, campfire singing, and dessert till 1:30 a.m.," the former actor revealed. "We even go to worship together at church the next morning."

It seems like a good time was had by all in attendance.
