It's been 10 years since Mean Girls hit theaters and took over the girl world. Its popularity and cult-classic status has made it so iconic that it even has its own holiday, Oct. 3. The Mean Girls cast has finally reunited for Entertainment Weekly's reunion issue and Amanda Seyfried reveaveld how Lacey Chabert got her through filming, wfile the rest of the cast opened up about their comedy journey.

Lindsay Lohan (who played Cady Heron), Rachel McAdams (who played Regina George), Amanda (who played Karen Smith), Lacey (who played Gretchen Wieners) and Tina Fey (who played Ms. Norbury) all reunited for the magazine shoot and they look just as fabulous as they did 10 years ago.

So what happened 10 years ago when the young girls were all stuck in Canada together, filming and living in the same location? A lot of girl bonding, obviously.

"I had just graduated high school! It was terrifying. I don't know what I would have done without Lacey Chabert. She was my angel. She took me in, and we'd hang out in her trailer and listen to Dido," Amanda revealed to Entertainment Weekly about her costar Lacey.

Lacey also grew up while filming the comedy. She turned 21 years old while filming in the mall. "The crew gave me a cake, and the entire mall sang 'Happy Birthday' to me. I made this huge feast for Canadian Thanksgiving and invited everyone over," Lacey recalled.

"Lacey taught me how to make pecan pie. She made my experience so magical and so safe for me," Amanda added.

Fans have been in love with Mean Girls since it first hit theaters in 2004 and the question still remains, will there ever be a sequel with the whole cast? Sadly, Tina finally put that rumor to rest in her interview.

"At the time we did want to start the conversation about the sequel, and for whatever reason I was like, 'No!!! We shouldn't do that!' Now I look back and I'm like, 'Why?' But now, no-it's too late now," Tina (who is also the creator of the film) told the publication.

For now, one iconic and quotable Mean Girls film will have to do, but we're still holding out for Tina changing her mind and the gang getting back together. Who wouldn't want to see The Plastics back in action again?
