Talk about bringing in the big bucks! Castle stars Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic are looking for ABC to dish out some extra coin when it comes to them appearing on the seventh season of the mystery series. The stars of the long running ABC series are seeking a huge pay raise to the tune of $1 million per episode.

According to RadarOnline, the duo is looking to follow in the footsteps of other series The Big Bang Theory and Friends and negotiate with the network for the salary increases while banding together.

"They feel they've earned it and they're going to band together," RadarOnline reports.

The series has performed very well for the network since debuting back in 2009, and has grown in viewership since it's premiere. Season five and six of the series have both experienced a surge in viewers, averaging about 12.63 million viewers and gaining a spot in the top 20 during both of these years. TNT has also started playing reruns of the series in 2012.

However, it seems that the stars are trying to go out on top as it is rumored that this season will be the series last.

The seventh season of Castle is currently underway, and as far as spoilers go, showrunner David Amann talked to Entertainment Weekly about an upcoming episode, and if there will be wedding bells this season for Beckett and Castle.

In the upcoming episode, Amann reveals that fans will be taken to an alternate world where Castle and Beckett don't know each other.

"Terri Miller kind of crafter a really great little episode that allowed us to go to a different world and have there be a reason for it, which is basically to spur Castle to advance his relationship with Beckett," Amann explains.

As far as a wedding between the two costars, Amann says, "We feel already at the end of season six, there was the promise of a wedding that was undone by Castle's disappearance and we did not want to do that again,"

Castle airs Monday nights at 10 pm on ABC.
