Friends premiered in 1994 and ended in 2004, but that doesn't mean some of its most iconic moments don't still resonate with true Friends fans. One of the most memorable things of all time is the song "Smelly Cat." Lisa Kudrow, who played Phoebe Buffay in the hit series, recently revealed that she is responsible for the song so many fans love to sing.

Although the writers wrote the words for the hilarious song about a poor smelly cat that Phoebe sang all the time, Lisa was actually responsible for the melody. During a Reddit AMA on Tuesday, the 51-year-old star explained how the song came about.

"The writers wrote it, I wrote the tune, and had a little help from Chryssie Hynde," Lisa revealed in her Reddit AMA. Chryssie Hynde of The Pretenders also guest starred on an episode and sang "Smelly Cat" with Phoebe. "Because I play guitar so poorly it would be too hard to learn how to play that badly," she added about creating the tunes.

Even though we love any episode that Phoebe sings in, Lisa's favorite episode of all time doesn't include her picking up the guitar.

"The Halloween party that Sean Penn appeared in. For a lot of reasons," The Comeback star said when asked her favorite Friends episode. "Number one was it was the first show we shot after 9/11. And that whole week, while driving in LA, people would pull up, and give me a very sad look, and a quiet 'thank you' for making them laugh."

So who was the funniest actor off set? Was it Jennifer Aniston who played Rachel Green, or Courteney Cox who played Monica Geller? Nope. It was one of the guys according to Lisa.

"See, now, 20 people would be insulted... but because I spent 10 years laughing hysterically at Matthew Perry off-set, it's Matthew Perry. And not laughing at him, laughing with him, sorry!" she revealed.

The Easy A star also opened up about the funniest thing that David Schwimmer who played Ross Geller did to make her laugh. "Oh, the bagpipes! Ross played 'Celebrate,' the Kool & the Gang song, on bagpipes! And he was SO fully committed!"

As for a possible reunion, Lisa admitted that if given the choice between a whole season and just a movie she said, "A whole season, because to spend that much time with those people again would be heaven!"

A whole new Friends series... we could get on board with that! What would you ask Lisa if you got the chance?
