Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is currently filming, and reports about the happenings on set continue to trickle out through photos and anecdotes. The latest one shows the famous Daily Planet globe in Metropolis.

Twitter user Henkepotamus and Batman-News have posted some images of the Daily Planet logo under construction in Chicago. It looks identical to the one we saw in Man of Steel, and you can check it out in the photo at the top of the page.

Batman-News also reports some tidbits about the Daily Planet. "Trailers and trucks in street below with signs for 'Bruce' and 'Lois.' Also some other random signs for characters like 'Sage,' 'Card,' and 'Jim.' I read that there were permits for Millenium Park too but didn't see any activity there."

Bruce and Lois clearly refer to Bruce Wayne and Lois Lane, so perhaps this is an indication that they share a scene or two together. But what about Sage, Card and Jim? It might mean very little, but Jim could refer to Commissioner Jim Gordon or maybe even Jimmy Olsen.

In other news, an extra on the film recently spoke to SupermanHomepage and revealed details of two scenes on which he worked. The first was a flashback featuring Jeremy Irons.

"'The first scene we filmed was with Jeremy Irons,' he says. 'It was out in a field with young Bruce Wayne. A flashback to the Wayne funeral. The small set was really cool with the hearse vehicles
sporting Gotham license plates.'"

The second one had much juicier plot implications, so beware of SPOILERS AHEAD.

"'The second scene I was involved in was situated in a half-stadium style set surrounded by tall green screen walls. Henry Cavill was on set dressed as Clark Kent, but did not film with us that day.' He continues, 'This scene was a parade scene to take place in 'Washington D.C.,' obviously the CG effects for the surroundings would be placed in post production.' Now for the major spoiler of this report... 'The parade, we were told, was the funeral for the President of the United States. I wish I had more pics but our phones were checked in before filming and we didn't get them back until the end of the day.'"
