'RHOA' Nene Leakes, Cynthia Bailey War: Bravo Star, Supermodel Explains Fight With Former Best Friend! Is Kenya Moore To Blame?

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey had an epic showdown with co-star and former best friend NeNe Leakes last season after the collapse of their friendship, but this season the aftermath plays out in front of the cameras.

"There was just a lack of respect," Cynthia told Access Hollywood Live. "There were just lines that were way, way crossed. I just couldn't get back to the way it was."

"The dynamics of the friendship changed a lot. You guys are going to see all that play out on the show," she continued. "We were closer than close for years. She was my bestie from when I first came on the show."

The demise of their once-riveting friendship occurred when Cynthia made NeNe go to a charity event co-star Kenya Moore put together in NeNe's honor. The former Dancing with the Stars contestant left the party early and had a big blowup with Cynthia's husband Peter Thomas afterward.

However, the two came to blows when NeNe told Peter he was being a "b-tch," which caused Cynthia to reevaluate their relationship. The two then didn't see eye-to-eye at last year's RHOA reunion show, where NeNe refused to sincerely apologize about the incident.

While the reality star's relationship with NeNe has deteriorated, her marriage is still going strong despite continual roadblocks as seen on the Bravo show.

"We're going on four years now. It makes it harder," she said. "Marriage isn't easy ... being on a reality show together, it definitely has its challenges."

When asked if her husband Peter has taken a backseat to all of the drama, the supermodel played a little coy.

"The show is primarily about the women. A lot of men watch the show because their women and wives watch the show, so they sort of like when the guys have their two cents," she answered.
