The Rock and Triple H had a humorous but tense confrontation on the 15th Anniversary episode of Friday Night SmackDown and the two teased a WrestleMania match, possibly at WrestleMania 31 next year at the San Francisco 49ers new stadium.

The latest rumors focus on renewed talks and speculation that WWE could run a power struggle storyline for the next Mania between Vince McMahon and The Authority, and this plot would have The Rock team with McMahon to take on Triple H. Recall that similar rumors floated prior to WrestleMania 30 with Stone Cold Steve Austin in place of The Rock.

In other news, the topic of a possible John Cena heel turn persists, and while it likely would never happen, even the top stars in the business, both past and present, continue to discuss it. Hulk Hogan is the latest man to remark on it, and he thinks the 15-time champion could pull it off.

"If John Cena ever turned heel and really stole some of Hollywood Hogan's tricks and backstabbing tactics, I think the people would cheer him out of the building," Hogan told Chuck Carroll of The Turnbuckle Weekly. "I think the fans would go crazy. I'm not talking about Thuganomics, I'm talking about being a stone cold, heartless, no good bad guy... I think Cena could pull it off."

What do you make of these rumors? Do you think we will see The Rock vs. Triple H at WrestleMania 31 or later? Will Cena ever turn heel? Let us know your thought and opinions in the comments section.
