Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 Spoilers: Adrianne Palicki Talks More Mockingbird

The reviews on Adrianne Palicki and her character, Mockingbird, on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. have been overwhelmingly positive to the point where many fans and critics are clamoring for her to become a full-time cast member on the show.

But how long will the actress and the character actually be on the series? Some fans assumed it would be a one-time appearance or minor recurring role, but the show has taken the time and energy to give her a full costume and started to develop her backstory. For her part, Palicki wants to be around for a while. "That has yet to be seen! I'm hoping to be around for a long time," the actress told MTV News.

Palicki also praised co-star Nick Blood, who plays new character Lance Hunter, the ex-husband of Bobbi Morse aka Mockingbird. "Nick is so fun and so funny! I think I laughed for a whole half of those tapes," she said.

Of course, comic book fans know that Hawkeye and Mockingbird are married in the source material, and Palicki hopes that the series addresses that somehow at some point. "It is a huge part of Mockingbird, of Bobbi Morse, so I'm hoping to see that relationship in the future," she said. "So whether it's getting Jeremy Renner on the show, or otherwise, you can't really deny that's a huge part of her character."
