All we can say is it's about time! Earlier tonight, the series return of HBO's The Comeback happened. And we have to say, we missed Valerie Cherish!

Starting off with the series star, played by Lisa Kudrow, filming her own pilot presentation, the Season 2 premiere showed us a little bit of what Valarie has been up to over the past 10 years. In fact, MStars News previously reported on some of her gigs over the past decade. Check that out here! From The Suburban Slasher VI to Justice: Post Mortem, it's safe to say she's been pretty busy!

The Season 2 premiere continued on, showcasing Cherish's hair color line (and her awful interview skills) and even some highlights from her series Room and Bored... which was highlighted in Season 1 of the series.

Mark then enters, and appears all but excited about the comeback presentation (which he calls a "student film"). While there, we discover that Valarie's plan is to give the film to Andy Cohen, who is famed for introducing us all to the Real Housewives.

After her editor heads to the bathroom, Valerie can be seen messing with some footage she's apparently not able to show... but she does. And from the looks of it, Cherish isn't too apt at acting in reality television, because during a sitdown with a Housewife of Beverly Hills the actress breaks "character," blows up and quits the show. But as she assures, she didn't storm off. Though in reality... she did. But as she put it, "Andy doesn't need to see that."

Cherish's filming continues. She claims to be one of the first ones to bring reality TV to viewers alongside Survivor, stating that her Comeback was a pioneer of sorts for that type of television. Is she right?

The actress's publicist, Billy (Dan Bucatinsky), shows up on set bringing with him the news that HBO is doing a series with Paulie G, titled Seeing Red, which he believes is based on Valarie. The actress attempts to get a hold of the script to scope out the damage. After doing so, she realizes that the series is indeed based on her. Needless to say, she's not too thrilled.

Heading over to the Chateau, where Cohen is eating lunch, Cherish rushes over to him (now with camera phones since the restaurant wouldn't let her in before) and attempts to chat with both he and Ru Paul about her pilot presentation. Cohen agrees to watch it when all is said and done. Was he doling out one of the many Hollywood lies?

While leaving the restaurant, Valarie is spotted by Juna Millken (Malin Akerman), who agrees to grab some food with her in four months. Following such, she is told that her people are going to send HBO a cease and desist. Looks like things are getting messy!

The actress then heads over to the HBO offices looking to cause a scene. Unfortunately, it seems she needs to get a wee bit better at her reality television flip-outs!

Cherish meets up with Paulie and the execs behind Seeing Red. She's then told that before reaching out to other reds, they approached her agent to see if she'd be interested in it. Unfortunately, they never heard back. Luckily, she's there now and reads for the role! And it's... embarrassing. BUT, she does get the part!

Stay tuned next Sunday for more from Valerie Cherish and The Comeback
