Only one day after the tragic death of pastor Dr. Myles Munroe in a plane crash that took place in the Bahamas, a full investigation is set to begin into what caused the crash that killed all nine of the passengers onboard.

According to ABC News, the pastor along with his wife Ruth and some of their entourage were traveling to the Bahamas to attend the Global Leadership Forum, which was arranged by the late Munroe.

The 60-year-old pastor and author was the founder of the Bahamas Faith Ministries International Fellowship, where his wife served as co-senior pastor.

According to USA Today, the Prime Minister of the Grand Bahamas, Perry Christie released a statement about the death.

"It is utterly impossible to measure the magnitude of the Dr. Munroe's loss to the Bahamas and to the world," Christie stated.

According to the news site, the plane carrying the passengers, which was a Lear 36, crashed while trying to land at the Freeport airport around 5 p.m. after taking off from Nassau.

The Bahamas Tribune is reporting that when trying to land, the plane hit a crane at the Grand Bahama Ship Yard, which caused it to explode immediately upon impact. An investigation is set to begin shortly into what caused the crash, but reports are claiming that heavy rain could have been a factor.

According to ABC, the Global Leadership Forum is set to continue on without Munroe as they revealed, "this is what Dr. Munroe would have wanted."

More details into the plane crash will be released when they become available.
