Taylor Swift has been on everyone's minds over the last couple months with the release of her new album 1989, including her ex Harry Styles. The One Direction band member was the inspiration for a couple of the songs on Tay's new LP — including "Out of the Woods"? — but it doesn't seem like he minded. In fact, in a recent interview Styles said he was actually lucky he was Swift's muse.

According to E! News, the boy bander explained he had no hard feelings toward the singer and that he actually thought she was "really good."

"She's really good so ... they're good songs. So I'm lucky in that sense," the singer explained during a Google Hangout session Sunday, Nov. 9.

The 22-year-old Brit also explained that he would have no right to be upset with Taylor about penning the songs since his band also draws on personal experiences for their tracks.

"I think we always say, when we wrote the album, that we write from personal experiences, so it would be hypocritical of us to be like, "Oh, you can't write a song ..." Harry revealed.

But Taylor is not only drawing on her experience with her exes for songs anymore, as she told Good Morning America earlier this month that some of her songs are about self-discovery and growing up.

"You're going to have people who are gonna say, 'Oh, you know, like she just writes songs about her ex-boyfriend,' and I think frankly, that's just a very sexist angle to take."

Swift's new song "Out of the Woods" has been getting a lot of attention, with people commenting that it's clearly about Harry Styles, but Taylor's keeping her tight-lipped policy and is making sure not to mention who it's actually about.

"They use kind of you writing songs about your life as a way to play detective, and, for me, I have a really strict personal policy that I never name names, so anybody saying that a song is about a specific person is purely speculating," the singer explained.
