The 59th H.U.G. Award Gala took place this Tuesday (November 3) at 230 Fifth Penthouse, as intimate apparel industry leaders, retail executives & NYU Langone Medical Center staff gathered amongst breathtaking views of the NYC skyline, presented by the Intimate Apparel Square Club (IASC).
The intimate affair was truly memorable for more than 375 people who attended. The inspirational tone was set when Dr. Steven Flanagan spoke about how the funds raised make a dramatic difference in the quality of care the NYU kids receive.
IASC President Michael DePrisco began the evening with a welcome message: "Tonight, we celebrate the extraordinary efforts of the doctors and medical teams at Rusk Rehabilitation and Tisch Pediatrics at NYU Langone Medical Center."
"We honor our 2014 H.U.G. Award recipients, Kohl's Department Store and Komar — two extraordinary organizations whose global leadership and dedication to children's services has had a profound impact on the community at large" — said DePrisco.
Celebrites in the past that have attended the wonderful event includes, Heather Thomson, Kristen Taekman, model, Dorothy Galligan, and many more.
The H.U.G. Gala brings together leaders in the Intimate Apparel, fashion and retail industries to raise funds for the IASC's campaign in support of pediatric treatment and rehabilitation.
