Fifty Shades of Grey movie casting for the role of Christian Grey is getting serious it seems. A fan video was released on youtube showing Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder speaking about meeting up with the movie's filmmakers.

The fact is that there is no director or screenplay confirmed for the movie yet, so there could not possibly be any auditions until a director is confirmed. Who exactly is Somerhalder going to meet?

According to Wetpaint, Fifty Shades of Grey movie producer Dana Brunetti countered the rumors by tweeting, "maybe he was lied to by someone? None the less, we are only meeting with writers."

Perhaps Somerhalder was not even talking about the same movie in the video as the video owner suggested.

There has been a lot of hype revolving around who is going to play the character of Christian Grey and his lover Anastasia Steele. The movie is expected to be rated-R due to the erotic scenes between the two lovers.
