Now that the The Flash is back from its short break on the CW network, viewers are ready to catch up with the scarlet speedster in an all-new episode. Will Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) discover Dr. Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) and General Eiling (Clancy Brown) made a "deal with the Devil" for the metahuman, 'Plastique?'

In our previous recap, we witnessed the origin story of how Barry (Gustin) ended up with his super-speed powers. Due to a particle accelerator explosion at S.T.A.R. Labs, lightning struck Barry and threw him into a vat of chemicals. Not only did Barry end up with powers, half of the civilian population of Central City became metahumans.

From our latest recap, Barry needed help from Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) and the rest of his team when Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) showed up. After getting shot by the freeze ray, Barry realized there was a weakness to his super-speed powers. Not only does he have to rescue others, like in the train crash, he has to protect himself as well.

According to the IMDB synopsis, after a bomb goes off, General Eiling (Brown) rolls in with his army and takes over the city. Suspicious of the General, Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) wants Barry and his team at S.T.A.R. Labs to look into the army's involvement, who are making super-soliders of their own.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham voice actor explains the relationship between his character and Wells, "They know of each other and they probably worked together a lot back in the day. If you're a dedicated scientist, like Wells, you've got to make that deal with the Devil to do theoretical physics, I guess. Makes you wonder."

The Flash continues on the CW Tuesdays at 8pm. Readers, are you excited to see Dr. Tina McGee again?
