Kelly Ripa Co-Host Search 2012 Ends, Finally Decided After 59 Guest Hosts

Kelly Ripa's co-host search has gone on for nearly one year since Regis Philbin retired last year, and the permanent host will finally be announced on September 4th.  Many LIVE! With Kelly fans have expressed their choices through poll votes online.  

The one thing that ABC has revealed is that the host will be one of the 59 guest hosts that stopped by the show.  Among the 59 potential candidates, fan favorites have been Neil Patrick Harris, Seth Meyers, Nick Lachey and even her husband Mark Consuelos.   Some fans enjoyed having different guests onto the show weekly.

While the producers and Ripa will keep their mouth shut until September, it looks like fans will continue to guess until the news is announced.
