Rapper Kendrick Lamar is not a member of the infamous YMCMB crew, but he still has mad respect for fellow hip-hop mogul, Lil Wayne!

In a recent interview with The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show earlier this week, the Compton emcee declared:

"Lil Wayne is a legend. People forget a lot of the work he's put in and what he's done for Hip Hop culture... It's phenomenal."

Pretty huge compliment, considering several big-name rappers (including Eminem) consider Lamar a future force to be reckoned with within the industry.

Lamar also discussed his new single "i" and his upcoming appearance on the hit show, "Saturday Night Live." Check out the full interview here:

The Black Hippy hype-man also made a rather amusing impersonation of the "How To Love" crooner. Tune-in to around the 2.50-minute mark for Lamar's smooth "baby" talk... Not bad, right?

Little information is available regarding Lamar's highly-anticipated upcoming album. Meanwhile, Weezy's eleventh studio album The Carter V is scheduled for a December 9 release.

Meanwhile, rumors surrounding Wayne's love life continue going viral online. Apparently, Christina Milian got tired of her "side chick" status and dumped the Young Money superstar. Now, he's allegedly back together with on-and-off again fiancee, Dhea Sodano...

Hopefully neither "fling" is pregnant!
