Poppy Delevingne Collaborating With A Bathing Suit Brand For New Swim Collection, Plus Funny Facts You Never Knew About The Model

Model Poppy Delevingne is known for her modeling campaigns and being the older sister to supermodel-turned-actress Cara Delevingne, but now she is adding swimwear designer to her list of skills. The 28-year-old socialite is now teaming up with a swimwear brand to create her own bathing suit collection, plus she reveals fun facts you never knew about her.

Poppy has officially teamed up with Solid & Striped founder Isaac Ross to create a swimwear collaboration called Solid & Striped x Poppy Delevingne. "I was instantly drawn to the suits because they were sexy and fun and you didn't feel uncomfortable in them. I could run around and do cartwheels in them!" Poppy exclusively told Style.com about the bathing suit brand.

The new collection will debut on Friday on Net-a-Porter with three different styles, a maillot, bandeau and a bikini in pink, blue and white, white and a flamingo print, according to the publication. The line is meant to channel Poppy's life, meaning, "The line is kind of the opposite of what we are doing in the main collection, which is really muted and softer," Solid & Striped founder Isaac said.

The model said in addition to the collection being inspired by her lifestyle, she gained inspiration for the line from a movie. "I've designed a bikini collection with beach brand Solid & Striped inspired by Alabama Worley [Patricia Arquette's character in True Romance], because she is my true style icon," Poppy explained to E! Online.

In addition to launching her collaboration for the line's Resort 2015 bikini collection, Poppy sat down with E! News and revealed some funny things that you might not know about her. For starters, the British model's nickname growing up was Froggy!

The most interesting facts are her favorite food, her biggest phobia and her favorite body feature. "I eat past every day. I dream in spaghetti," the young model revealed. As for her biggest phobia, Poppy said, "I have a phobia of buttons. Since I was a child, if someone hugged me with a shirt on I'd cry."

Lastly, she revealed that she loves her feet. "I think my feet are my prettiest feature. If there was an award for Foot Supermodel of the Year, I would win it," she told the publication.
