We know R&B singer Ne-Yo puts out great music, but to cause seizures in a woman? That's another story!

Zoe Fennessy revealed to The Daily Mail that the "Miss Independent" singer causes her to have violent seizures. It's so bad that she has to wear headphones when she goes into stores in case his song is playing in the background.

"People might thing it is funny- and I can laugh at it myself - but it has taken over my life," the 26-year-old woman, who recently had surgery to remove her left temporal lobe in June explained. "It's ruined my life."

The young woman had the surgery to help end her seizures, however the problem still occurs. In 2008, Fennessy was diagnosed with epilepsy, however, she had her first experience of musicogenic -- music-induced seizures -- in 2011 when she heard Ne-Yo's "Give Me Everything" song.

Fennessy has been monitored by doctors who say that she does have music induced seizures, which also include bouts of vomiting, due to to the star's songs.

"If he ever released a greatest hits album, it's going to be a nightmare," she joked. "Whenever I hear the first beats of the song, I have to drop whaterver I am doing and run. I don't dislike Ne-Yo or his music. It just dislikes me unfortunately."

A study by Harvard states that musicogenic epilepsy is a rare medical condition generally classified by triggers from a specific stimulus, usually happening within minutes. The study says that the sound of church bells or the "metallic character of a singer's voice" can induce a seizure.

"I'll be walking around the supermarket doing my food shopping and I have to put my earphones in to listen to my own music just in case it comes on," Fennessy told The Daily Mail.
