Dumb and Dumber To hits theaters this weekend, hoping to become a blockbuster hit and one of the biggest sequels of 2014; but there will be something missing from this Farrelly Bros. comedy. According to numerous reports, a came featuring Hunger Games starlet Jennifer Lawrence was removed from the film's final cut for some reason. Now rumors are spreading about how and why the scene didn't make it into the final product, with many saying Lawrence told the directors to get rid of her part altogether!

Clearly, cutting Lawrence from the film would be a terrible idea for the producers and directors. She's Hollywood's most wanted actress with an Oscar under her belt. So why is her scene no longer in the movie?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lawrence was the one to cut the scene! Apparently, she shot the cameo and retained the right to have final say on its inclusion in the movie. It looks like her final word was "no." The report goes on to explain that the directors of the film and representatives of the actress deny this news, though.

In fact, Bobby Farrelly recently told the story of how this cameo is all one big rumor.

"There was a rumor about that because when we were shooting Dumb and Dumber To they were also shooting The Hunger Games down in Atlanta and she was a big Dumb and Dumber fan so one night we all went out to dinner and then that just a rumor," he explained, then said that she never filmed a scene.

So why all of these rumors? Are the directors covering for Jennifer and the real reason or is this just a bigger rumor? Let us know what you think in the comments section below!
