Fans of Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan that live in the USA are sure to jump with joy at the announcement of a TV special airing this holiday season on NBC. That's right, on Dec. 23, 2014 you can tune in for One Direction: The TV Special for a first-time event from the world's biggest boy band! According to The Hollywood Reporter, the boy band announced this exciting news on Twitter this week:


According to a new press release from NBC Universal, this first-time event involving the boy band on primetime TV is part of a new venture to help promote the release of One Direction's new album, FOUR. On top of this TV event, One Direction will also appear on TODAY and Telemundo's Un Nuevo Dia for special live performances, as well as Access Hollywood and E! News for interviews.
