Find Out When Season Two Of 'The Fall' Will Be Heading To Netflix

The Fall season two is coming to Netflix, so get ready to watch! The Fall, which first season aired in 2013 is back for another thrilling season. The series will hit Netflix on Friday, Jan. 16.

E! Online exclusively reported that season two of The Fall would be coming to Netflix in January. The series' stars Gillian Anderson (who plays Stella Gibson) and Jamie Dornan (who plays Paul Spector) will be back for the sophomore season. The Good Wife star Archie Panjabu will also star in the series' second season.

"The Fall in its first series, was one of the best reviewed TV shows of 2013. It is incredibly suspenseful storytelling, topped with a great cast including Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan," Ted Sarandos, chief content officer at Netflix, said in a statement via E! Online. "We're thrilled to offer such a distinguished and entertaining show to our viewers around the world."

The hit BBC Two drama will be back for a six-episode stint and will take place in Belfast, Northern Ireland according to the publication. The series follows Stella, a talented female detective who is brought into Belfast to hunt and arrest Paul, the serial killer, who stalks his victims.

"[It] picks up with Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson (Anderson) on the trail of serial killer Paul Spector (Dornan). A personal link to Paul's past opens up some clues for the detective, but provokes the killer and could destroy the whole investigation. The closer Gibson gets to her man, the more risks there are and the two engage in a psychological destructive battle," E! Online revealed.

"The second series of this award-winning drama is sure to draw fans even further into the cat and mouse game between Stella Gibson and Paul Spector," Cathy Payne, chief executive at Endemol Worldwide Distribution, said in a statement.
