Although Sex and the City hasn't been on TV since 2004, fans are not ready to give up hope on the return of the hit series. The show's creator is opening up about a possible TV return for SATC plus, he opens up about a season three of The Comeback.

Sex and the City creator Michael Patrick King is currently working on The Comeback season two (he is the co-creator) and with its success, he is contemplating a third season of the series, which just began its second season, and also talking the future of SATC.

"With the new streaming service, all bets are off. There's a chance [for more of The Comeback and Sex and the City], but I have no idea what the streaming world will be like. Look, television's like the Wild West now. People are shooting guns off like, 'Pop! Pop! Pop! I'm on the Planter's Peanut channel!' It's so crazy how many different ways you can play this game," Michael exclusively told E! Online.

"Right now, I'm still editing the Comeback finale. I'm still worrying and working on the last version of this incarnation of The Comeback. We just wanted to make sure we told that part well, and sure, we'd love to do more, but we have not dared to think about it yet."

He continued saying, "And as far as Sex and the City goes, the mere fact that it is still so alive, and not just on the gym TV's, not just on the Precor, but that people are still wondering about these girls, you never know. It could come back at some point. All bets are off."

Fingers crossed for another Sex and the City TV run, but until then we will focus on The Comeback, which is kicking butt this season. "Then, last year, a miracle happened: a resurrection. Nearly a decade after canning the series, HBO agreed to produce a comeback of The Comeback-a second season with the same core cast," The New Yorker said in regards to the revival of the funny series.

"The result, which débuted last weekend, is as spiny and audacious as the original, but very different, because it isn't aimed at 'celebreality' or network sitcoms, now dated targets. Instead, King and Kudrow go for something with more cachet: the auteurist pay-cable antihero series."
