With The Flash currently underway on the CW network, viewers are anxiously awaiting for the upcoming DC Comics crossover event, entitled 'Flash vs. Arrow.' When these two superheroes finally join forces, will Grant Gustin (Barry Allen) and Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen) team-up against Captain Boomerang and Rainbow Raider?

In our previous recap, we witnessed the origin story of how Barry (Gustin) ended up with his super-speed powers. Due to a particle accelerator explosion at S.T.A.R. Labs, lightning struck Barry and threw him into a vat of chemicals. Not only did Barry end up with powers, half of the civilian population of Central City became metahumans.

According to ComicBook, the CW has released the plot synopsis for the The Flash/Arrow crossover episodes. Oliver (Amell), Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Diggle (David Ramsey) arrive at Central City to investigate a case involving a deadly boomerang. Barry needs Arrow and his team to help him find the metahuman Ray Bivolo, who causes people to lose control of their emotions and uses them to rob banks.

In the comics, Bivolo is the Rainbow Raider who drains the color of others, stealing their energy and life force. The synopsis for Flash vs. Arrow states Bivolo will infect Barry and set him on a rage rampage, putting Arrow in danger. This will lead to the fight sequence we've been hearing so much about.

Part 2 continues on Arrow'The Brave and the Bold as Ollie and the gang are still hunting after the boomerang-wielding killer, which could only mean Captain Boomerang is involved. We previously mentioned Felicity (Rickards) made the jump first and guest-starred in the episode, Going Rogue. Felicity helped the Flash and his team defeat Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) , but they couldn't stop him from meeting up with Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell). The Prison Break actors are forming the beginning of the super villain team, The Rogues.

In the comics, Captain Boomerang also belongs to the Rogues. How long will it take before we see him join Captain Cold and Heat Wave on the TV show?

The episode, Flash vs. Arrow, is scheduled to air on November 25. Readers, are you excited to see Green Arrow and The Flash?
