5 Thoughts On Hayley Atwell's Peggy Carter 'Agents of SHIELD' Season 2 Appearance In "The Things We Bury!" [WATCH]

Now that we are in the midst of November, we are just a a two months away from Marvel's new spy drama premiere in January. Before Hayley Atwell stars in her own ABC series, Marvel's Agent Carter, Peggy Carter has an appearance to make in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 episode, 'The Things We Bury.'

IGN reports Peggy Carter (Atwell) appears in a 1940s-era flashback. In the clip, we see Carter interrogating an imprisoned Werner Reinhardt/Daniel Whitehall (Reed Diamond) in a dark cell. Also known as Kraken, the Hydra commander has managed not to age one bit, becoming a deadly threat to Coulson and his team in the present.

1) This Is Part 2

We previously mentioned that in Carter's first appearance, which can be considered Part 1, she and the Howling Commandos captured Whitehall as they raided the Hydra base. The follow-up, Part 2, is Carter and Whitehall playing mind games with each other. Will there be a Part 3?

2) When Are Carter and Whitehall Going To Fight?

Enough with the fancy talk, let's see these two fight already. Marvel teased us before with a trailer showcasing Agent Carter in the midst of explosions, shootouts, and chases. There better be a payoff with these flashback scenes.

3) Howard Stark

We mentioned here that the Agent Carter series will focus on Peggy trying to balance an office job with the Strategic Scientific Reserve, while going on secret missions with Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper). While Peggy attempts to pull off her juggling act, Stark has been framed for selling weapons on the black market. is it Whitehall setting up Stark to take the fall? Will Kraken continue being the big bad?

4) Who The Hell Are 'The Visitors?'

Whitehall states, "These visitors didn't come to save the world...they came to conquer it." Does this mean Agent Peggy Carter has eight episodes to save the world from an alien invasion?
