Grab your hot cocoa with cinnamon and get ready for another magical filled episode of Once Upon a Time. Fans are getting treated to two all-new episodes, which we will be breaking down in two separate recaps. During the first hour we get to see how Emma and the rest of Storybrooke deal with her growing powers.

Emma's powers grow increasingly out of control and she is on the run as a way to stop hurting other. However, it doesn't seem like her plan is working out, as Henry finds her and tries to talk some sense into her. When she can't stop her powers, she ends up using accidental using them on Henry and throws him against a tree in the woods.

Realizing that her magic is going to keep hurting the ones she loves, she seeks out Mr. Gold to take the powers away from her. He explains that he will be able to, but that in order to do it they will have to go to a secluded area as getting rid of that kind of magic is said to destroy an entire city block.

Regina and Robin spend the night together in her mausoleum, romantic right? After a night of passion, she reveals to him her plan to finding the author of the Once Upon a Time book in order for her to get her happily ever after.

Robin Hood, wanting to make Regina happy, goes on the lookout for the author of the book with the help of Will Scarlett.

In a flashback, we see the Snow Queen talk to Elsa about Anna. She makes up lies to try to turn the sisters against one another. She tells Elsa that Anna came back from Mist Haven with a hat that was to drain Elsa's powers.

However, it doesn't look like the lies turn Elsa against her sister as the two plan on sealing Ingrid in the magical urn. The two scavenge the palace looking for the place that Ingrid hid the urn and eventually find it in the east wing of the castle.

In Storybrooke, the town is still on the hunt to find Emma, but feel relieved when she calls her parents to explain that she is giving up her powers. However, had she not explained that to them they already had a locator potion on hold as a way to find her.

When Elsa hears Mary Margaret and David talking about Emma's powers and thinking that she should give them up to be normal, it doesn't sit well with her, knowing that Emma's magic is a part of who she is. Elsa having gone through the same thing in her past decides to steal the locator spell from Mary Margaret and David in the hopes of finding Emma before she gives up her powers.

It seems like the real reason that Rumple has talked Emma into giving up her powers is so that he can trap her inside his magical hat. Hook decides to come clean to Emma and tell her this information in the hopes that she will listen to him before she decides to get rid of her magic. However, when he tries to get a hold of her, his call goes straight to voicemail.

In order for the Snow Queen to not interfere in Rumple's plans, he puts the Snow Queen inside a magic border used from the remnants of the magic urn to trap her. He tells her that he is going to betray both her and Emma before the night is over.

The episode ends with Emma getting into a car accident as she tries and fails in controlling her powers.
