'Dawson's Creek' Reunion: Joshua Jackson And James Van Der Beek Back Together; Dawson Lerry And Pacey Witter Share Run-In On Instagram

Kids of the '90s better prepare themselves for the reunion that just happened over the weekend. The cast of Dawson's Creek had a mini reunion Saturday, Nov. 15, when James Van Der Deek and Joshua Jackson hung out at an event together. The onscreen besties, who played Dawson Leery and Pacey Witter for six seasons, looked all smiles in the photo Van Der Beek posted to his Instagram account.

The star captioned the photo, "The most pleasant run-ins can happen in the most unexpected places."

The series ran for six years on The WB and became a breakout teen drama, putting stars including Van Der Beek, Jackson, Katie Holmes and Michelle Williams on the map.

According to Us Weekly, Holmes explained that her and her fellow costars still keep in touch and that they support one another whole-heartedly.

"You know, we all still keep in touch and support each other," the star explained. "Luckily, we all have been able to stay busy. We had a really wonderful time. It was six years of our lives, and we were all really passionate about making it the best it could be. We really believe in ourselves."

And this isn't going to be the last time Dawson's Creek will have a reunion, as E! News reported that the cast of the series will be guests at this year's Writers' Room Reunion panel, part of the ATX Television Festival's Season 4 Fest.

The festival will take place in Austin, Texas, and will run from June 4 to 7.

Also set to take the reunion stage will be the cast of Gilmore Girls, including Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel and show creator Amy Sherman-Palladino.
