Audrey Hepburn has always been a fashion icon and muse to many and now her granddaughter Emma Ferrer is having her day in the spotlight. Emma has officially signed a modeling contract and is destined to follow in her Breakfast at Tiffany's grandmother's footsteps.

After making a splash in an exclusive spread for Harper's Bazaar in its September issue, where she channeled iconic images of Audrey, Emma is now ready to take her modeling skills to the next level.

Emma is currently an art student and a former ballerina, but now she is going to be a model ready to work with Storm Model Management, according to The Telegraph. Storm Model Management also reps the likes of Cara Delevingne and Kate Moss.

"I am devoted to art, painting, and entering into the world of aesthetics as a whole," Emma exclusively told The Telegraph. The 20-year-old will be moving from Italy, where she is studying art at the Florence Academy of Art, to New York to work and study at the satellite campus in Jersey City, the publication reported.

As for the resemblance to her famous grandmother, Emma explained that she never met her, because she was born two years after she passed away. "All I can compare is what I live of her through my father and family. She had a desire to help people and make the world more beautiful, and I undeniably feel the same. I guess that runs in the family. When it's these kinds of comparisons, no I'm never bothered, but rather honored," she told the publication.

"I want to be a person that she would be proud of, and I hope she would be proud because of who I am," she added.

Although she is only modeling for the time being, Emma hasn't ruled out acting like Audrey, who is known for her films like My Fair Lady and Roman Holiday. "I think it's a beautiful art form and you can explore so much about yourself, so I am very interested in it," Emma revealed.

For now the young student is excited to see what a modeling career has to offer her. "I am more looking forward to meeting different photographers with different visions and learning about fashion today through them," she told the publication.

"For now, a unique experience with a photographer with a strong artistic vision and creating beautiful images is my idea of a perfect 'modeling job.'"
