It's finally that time of year - hockey season!
The Pittsburgh Penguins battle it out on the ice against the Montreal Canadiens in Week 6 of the NHL regular season on Tuesday, November 18 at 7:30 p.m. EST at the Bell Centre in Quebec. Heading into the first few weeks of the 2014 regular season, the Penguins snag the impressive No. 2 spot in Pierre LeBrun's official power rankings for ESPN.com with a 12-3-1 record:
"The Pens had a nifty weekend, with wins over the Leafs and Rangers. They have a chance to reclaim top spot in the Power Rankings with a win Tuesday night in Montreal in what is shaping up to be the most compelling game of the week."
Meanwhile, the Canadiens currently hold the awesome No. 1 spot (out of 30 total teams) with a 14-4-1 record. According to LeBrun:
"Ever since getting hammered at home by the Flames and Blackhawks to start November, the Canadiens have won six in a row, the last five by three goals or more. The power play is beginning to improve after stinking up the joint in the opening month."
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels ROOT and RDS, but fans can also listen in on the radio at 105.9 The X, WNIO, 98,5 FM, and TSN 690.
