Actress & TV Personality LaLa Anthony To Host 2014 Global Spin Awards, Airing On REVOLT TV

REVOLT TV and the Global Spin Awards (GSA), an award show that honors the world's most dynamic and talented DJs, past and present, have announced television personality and actress LaLa Anthony as the official host of this year's show, ahead of Anthony's new movie Destined.

The 2014 Global Spin Awards will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014 at the New World Stages theatre in New York City, and air on REVOLT TV on Nov. 25, 2015 at 8pm ET.

Host LaLa is best known for her television career as a veejay on Direct Effect, Total Request Live, Charmed School, her popular reality show LaLa's Full Court Life, and her most recent film and television roles including Think Like a Man Too, Law & Order: SVU and Power. LaLa began her career in radio as a disc jockey in Washington, DC and Los Angeles, CA.

The awards will also feature a performance by Grammy Award winner Ne-Yo, as well appearances from Sean 'Diddy' Combs and Funk Master Flex.

Viewers have much to look forward to LaLa hosting the awards show. LaLa previously marked the launch of REVOLT in 2013 when the she joined Sean 'Diddy' Combs on the steps of Notorious BIG's childhood home with Diddy discussing why he launched the network, which he then dedicated to the memory of Notorious BIG.

Anthony is also busy working on a new film, Destined, where she plays the role of Jada.

The wife of NY Knicks, Carmelo Anthony captioned the photo via Facebook:

"So while in Detroit filming DESTINED I ask my co star @robrileynyc to take some pics of me as my character, JADA. He's an amazing photographer & captured me in a way not many people have seen. Also starring in the upcoming film, is Tia Mowry-Hardrict's husband, Cory Hardrict. (seen below)
