Justin Bieber is on a mission... literally, it seems. The once-upon-a-time-pop-star-turned-headline-maker is yet again in the news. This time, however, it's without the backing of former girlfriend Selena Gomez, any drug and alcohol arrests or even Kendall Jenner –– with whom he was rumored to be dating. Now, it appears the Biebs is making headlines with one guy and one guy only... God.

TMZ is reporting that the young star is on a mission the spread the word of the Lord.

Just last week, Bieber was randomly spotted in Montclair, NJ, where he was appearing at the Hillsong Church NYC, which was led by friend Pastor Carl Lentz. According to NJ.com, the star was baptized by Lentz and the two have maintained a relationship since. Of course, the aforementioned baptism took place after the videos of the pop star using the n-word came to light, so perhaps the relationship isn't that long.

Following his appearance in the Montclair church, Justis Cilino, a fellow churchgoer, thanked him on Twitter:

On the visit, Cilino told NJ.com, "It was amazing to see him there worshipping and praising God. He was so worshipful, and I was speechless. He was actually just sitting in the congregation."

TMZ is claiming that Bieber has completely turned himself away from "friends, alcohol, weed" and everything that does not in some way interconnect with the man (or woman – yes, we went there) upstairs. They even obtained a photo of Bieber from this past Monday, Nov. 17, which shows him at the Rancho Mirage keeping close to the book Occupy All Streets –– a book famed for helping those resist temptations.

So, is Bieber turning to God for answers? You tell us!
