True Tori star Dean McDermott has been trying to keep his marriage afloat ever since he admitted to cheating on his wife Tori Spelling. But he's still keeping to his guns that this'll be his last season on the hit reality show.

"Don't get me wrong. I'm not pooh-poohing the show and the whole experience I've had. I've learned a lot about myself, our relationship — it's been a good process," he said on Today. "But as it goes and continues, it's taking a toll on me. It's not good for me. It's different for everybody. If it works for T, that's great, but I'm finding I'm having a hard time with it."

"I want some of my privacy back. I think I've shared too much of my soul and my demons with strangers. As you know, with that comes positive and negative reactions. It's just not a good space for me," he continued.

One thing is certain: The Chopped Canada host will be by his wife's side if she continues with the Lifetime show, even if it's not on camera.

"If it helps her, absolutely," he told Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. "I support her 100 percent."

But the two had a major blowup after the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star met with Dean's ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace.

"Having [Mary Jo] on the show, it was to discuss co-parenting — what I believed was to talk about co-parenting — and it just didn't seem to go that way," he said.

With all the tumult on the show, it still has helped them get their marriage back on track.

"We are in a better place than ever," he exclaimed. "Our love is stronger. We're solid. We're communicating. We're actually having a fully functional relationship."

As MStars News reported, Tori had appeared on the same show a couple days ago singing her husband's praises and saying he was always there for her when she needed him, especially for her recent hospital visit.

"He was by my side daily. He proved it. He was home taking care of four kids. He really stepped up," she said. "And that was the big thing on the show this season. I was like, 'Step up! Take care of the kids! You've been away. You've been dealing with yourself for so long. Come back to us.' And he has — in a big way."
