Glee alum Naya Rivera revealed that she doesn't want her husband Ryan Dorsey to be friends with other women now that they are married. The 27-year-old actress explained that in her marriage she has certain things she wants to do to make it successful.

When Naya co-hosted The View on Tuesday, she revealed that she completely agrees with Mary J. Blige's outlook on marriage. Mary J. Blige made a comment about having her husband of 12 years not be friends with anyone of the opposite sex in order to make their relationship work and Naya totally gets it.

"I think that's amazing. I'm with Mary. I just got married and I'm pretty sure I told my husband that like two days ago," Rivera said on the show via E! Online.

"It's really not so much a rule as I understand it, because I feel like you're playing with fire and opening up the floodgates here, and you're having issues in your marriage, but someone is going to talk to the opposite sex to get advice or whatever and you should be talking to your partner. So I don't believe in it."

Naya and Ryan got married on July 19, 2014 in a surprise wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Their ceremony was small and intimate with only close family in attendance. "We feel truly blessed to be joined as husband and wife," the couple told exclusively told People in July. "Our special day was fated and everything we could have ever asked for."

After The Views' fellow co-hosts including Whoopi Goldberg, Rosie Perez, Nicolle Wallace and Rosie O'Donnell disagreed with the idea of your spouse not having friends of the opposite sex, Naya continued to defend her position.

"I got what you were saying as well. I feel the exact same way. It's not so much that you like don't trust your relationship or your husband or your wife or anything. You kind of don't trust outsiders and other people. You don't know what their motives are," the At the Devil's Door actress explained.

"I feel like there's a difference between having an issue with that when you're married and when you're just dating someone. I feel like when you're married, if you're now someone's wife, I'm sorry, ladies, but you got to get back a little bit more. It's different."

In lighter news, Naya is officially getting ready for her Glee return. "Back on the #Glee set now for an extra special BIG Brit/Santana episode!" she announced on her Twitter this morning.

 Always a Dorsey. ❤️
