Season 5 of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee continued earlier today with a new episode from veteran comic Jerry Seinfeld. In this episode, the Seinfeld star invited in funnyman Bill Burr. Kicking off by picking the Boston comedian up in a Ford Mustang (apparently Burr is a Ford-guy) the two then headed on over to the Novel Café for some coffee and conversations about the NFL domestic violence scandals, his appearance on Breaking Bad and the Chappelle's Show and his thoughts on the social media in today's world... including Facebook and Twitter.

"There's this new level of like selfishness when you go to a comedy club where they watch you for 40 minutes and take everything as a joke," Burr noted. "And then all of a sudden, you hit a topic that's sensitive to them and then all of a sudden you're making statements."

He then transitioned his thoughts to that of social media, claiming it appears everyone believes they have a "power" because of it. Which is why the NFL is getting so much press. "You literally got six guys. There's 50 guys on a team including the coaching staff... they're making everybody out like, 'The NFL has a real problem with domestic violence.' ... As opposed to what, plumbers? Society in general?" Meaning (we think) that the reason the NFL controversy is so huge is merely because they're in the public eye.

"Whether I'm gonna hit a woman or not in life was never informed by a running back for the Baltimore Ravens."

So, is anyone else jealous that Jerry Seinfeld and Bill Burr get to smoke cigars in the middle of the day?
