MTV Diem Brown, Chris "CT" Tamburello: 'Real World/Road Rules Challenge' Star Thanks Fans During "Hardest Time Of My Life"! [Instagram Photo]

Diem Brown's MTV fans were shocked when the Real World/Road Rules Challenge star lost her long battle with cancer. Her relationship with Chris "CT" Tamburello was documented on the reality show for years, but after the outpouring of love he wanted to thank the fans for being there for him.

In a post on Instagram looking cleaned up in a suit and holding flowers, the MTV star displayed his grief over losing his late love.

"Hello everyone, My family, and I, want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for all the love and kind words you all have shown me during the hardest time of my life," he wrote. "I honestly did not expect to receive so much support. I am going to take some time for myself. And before I go, I thought it was appropriate to let everyone know that you are all appreciated. Thank you so very much."

CT attended Diem's funeral where hundreds of family and friends showed their love for the cancer victim. Trisha Yearwood also sang an emotional tribute that brought many to tears.

As MStars News reported, CT put up a photo yesterday of Diem's face next to some rosary beads and a ring. It was included with the caption, "You have always been My Angel. And now you have your wings. We've been thru so much over the years. Thru the ups and downs we somehow managed to keep our promise. We never gave up on each other."
