Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott have let their marriage drama play out in front of the cameras for their Lifetime reality show True Tori, but now the Chopped Canada host wants to protect his family from the ongoing tumult between them and that may mean no more True Tori.

"Dean has made it known he's done filming True Tori, and in his mind the time has come for the kids to be taken off the show as well," a source told Radar Online. "The family needs time away from the camera, but Tori just won't let it happen."

The source goes on to say that Dean is "a very involved dad," however, "In Dean's opinion, the more Tori can come off as the victim, the better."

The couple has four kids together: Liam, 7, Stella, 6, Hattie, 3, and 2-year-old Finn.

As MStars News reported, the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star's husband is done filming their reality show.

"Don't get me wrong. I'm not pooh-poohing the show and the whole experience I've had. I've learned a lot about myself, our relationship — it's been a good process," he said on Today. "But as it goes and continues, it's taking a toll on me. It's not good for me. It's different for everybody. If it works for T, that's great, but I'm finding I'm having a hard time with it."

"I want some of my privacy back. I think I've shared too much of my soul and my demons with strangers. As you know, with that comes positive and negative reactions. It's just not a good space for me," he continued.

Nevertheless, he said he would welcome his wife staying on the hit show as long as it will be more beneficial than salacious.

"If it helps her, absolutely," he told Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. "I support her 100 percent."

Do you think Dean should let Tori continue with the reality show without him and the kids?
