After making its official premiere and serving up its fourth episode, Constantine continues with an all-new episode on NBC. Based on the popular DC Comics horror title, will John Constantine (Matt Ryan) meet with other characters from the DC Universe, such as Swamp Thing and his rival/ally Papa Midtnite in the upcoming episodes?

In the Hellblazer title from Vertigo Comics, Constantine (Ryan) is an occult detective, ladies man, and con artist all put together. Though he wants to do some good in his life, the troubled anti-hero walks a fine line between sorcery and obsession. In his trademark fashion, Constantine steps out into the world wearing a white dress shirt, a faded trench coat, and carries a box full of cigarettes in his pocket.

In the comics, Constantine first showed up during author Alan Moore (Watchmen)'s run on Swamp Thing. In his earliest illustrations, artists Stephen R. Bissette and John Totleben drew inspiration from rock icon Sting for his character design.

In an interview with Den of Geek, The Tudors actor reveals if the green monster will make an appearance, "Oh, yeah, Swamp Thing, that would be cool. We're starting where comic books kick off, we've got the whole canon in front of us, we're actually taking stories directly comics. My favorite story is Dangerous Habits. It's badass, it'll take us a long time to get there but that's good we can grow before we get there."

As we mentioned before, in the third episode, Michael James Shaw showed up as Papa Midnite, who has been known to switch sides as an ally and adversary. Now Midnite returns again in Danse Vaudou, needing Constantine's help when his dark magic suddenly goes wrong.

John will also meet with Detective Jim Corrigan, also known as The Spectre in the same episode as well.

Constantine airs Tuesdays 10pm on NBC. Readers, would you like to see Swamp Thing meet John Constantine?
