During last night's episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers, the former Saturday Night Live Weekend Update anchor taught Uber executives Emil Michael and Travis Kalanick a thing or two in a segment called "Couple Things" after word spread that the execs reportedly told a group of journalist that he wanted to invest a million dollars to dig into the personal lives and families of other journalists who have been rather analytical of the company. Unfortunately, it seems the controversy comes at a bad time considering Uber just announced its partnership with Spotify.

An article was originally posted on BuzzFeed back on Monday, Nov. 17, that outlined Michael's comments that he was looking to spend the large sum of money to "hire four top opposition researchers and four journalists. The team could, he said, help Uber fight back against the press – they'd look into 'your personal, lives, your families,' and give them media a taste of its own medicine." Well, to that, Meyers had a "couple things" to say...

Check out the video of Meyers' hilarious rant below:

So, readers, does the former Saturday Night Live player have a point? Are the comments you make in private "absolutely your private views?" YES! Of course!

Following the news breakout, Uber CEO Travis Kalanick released an apology via Twitter –– in thirteen different parts. Check them out below:

For the rest of the apology, head on over to Kalanick's Twitter page.
