Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks is in the midst of marriage hell with her husband Apollo Nida, who is serving eight years in prison for bank and wire fraud. The Bravo star is dead set on divorcing her incarcerated ex despite rumors to the contrary.

"Phaedra and Apollo both have attorneys that are quietly working on reaching a divorce agreement and settlement right now," a source told Radar Online. "They want to dissolve the marriage amicably, and with as little drama as possible."

"Ideally, once an agreement is reached, both parties will file for divorce at the same time in Georgia, and indicate it has been resolved," the source continued. "There is no rush to get this done. Apollo is in jail and Phaedra has moved on. She is focused on being the best mother possible to their two young sons, Ayden, 4, and Dylan, 18 months."

Viewers of the RHOA have had a front row seat to the disfunction in the reality couple's relationship. Just this season, Apollo asked for a divorce and then admitted to co-star Kenya Moore that he lied about her offering to give him fellatio.

As MStars News reported, this comes on the heels of Apollo's shocking interview from behind bars to In Touch Magazine where he said he hopes to reconcile with his estranged wife.

"I'm not the best husband ... I know I let a lot of people down," BravoTV reported that Nida told In Touch. "But I can say that Phaedra is the best wife and mom and that my children are in good hands with her. I'm hopeful that we can stick things out.

"Yes, we've had problems - especially over the last year- but we've gotten on terms now where I can call her and it's cordial."

However, Phaedra's representative, Steve Honig, denied any talk of a reunion saying, "There have been absolutely no discussions about reconciling," and "the divorce is proceeding as planned."

Do you think Phaedra should get back together with Apollo?
