Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is getting ready for prison in less than two months, but the fate of the next season of her Bravo reality show is still up in the air. According to the NY Daily News, the network has decided to not start filming the show until Teresa gets out of prison.

"There is zero moving forward anytime soon for The Real Housewives of New Jersey," a source told the paper. "If we're doing a season seven, Teresa will be part of it. We would shoot it when she's out of jail."

If the producers decided to wait that long, it could be over a year till the next season of RHONJ airs. Most likely, it would be well into 2016.

"The season for 'Housewives' is not consistent in the way that the other shows are, like 'OK, episode one is always Jan. 1' or whatever," the source said. "Real Housewives of New York missed an entire year before we brought it back. It's not that we have to do it within a certain amount of time. We do it when we know it's right and when we want to do it."

"The network has not made any decision on how we're moving forward with [Real Housewives of New Jersey]," according to the paper. "We have nothing going forward, we have no [footage] in the can, nothing that we're shooting right now.

The source also noted that the honchos do not plan to film Teresa before she heads off to the slammer.

"We're completely figuring out what to do with the show," the source continued. "We can't really figure it out until we see what's going to happen with her and the rest of the cast."

In a statement, Bravo said, "The network has made no decisions about The Real Housewives of New Jersey as we just finished airing season six."

As MStars News reported, the RHONJ star will spend 15 months behind bars at Danbury Correctional Facility in Connecticut after pleading guilty to charges of bankruptcy and mortgage fraud.

Do you think Bravo should do the next season without Teresa?
