Cathey and Julia Crockett now join Patrick Fugit and Philip Glenister with filmmaker Adam Wingard in the upcoming series, Outcast.

From Skybound, an imprint of Image Comics, the new horror comic series features demons as the opposing supernatural force of nature. In the best-selling first issue, Kyle Barnes (Fugit) had been plagued by demonic possession all his life. Desperate for answers, Kyle's investigation will unexpectedly cause the end of the world. We previously mentioned the comic book adaption was announced during the last San Diego Comic-Con.

We previously mentioned the Gone Girl actor playing the lead role and Philip Glenister (Life On Mars) has the role of Reverend Anderson, a hard drinking and gambling West Virginian evangelical preacher. Child actor Gabriel Bateman has been cast as 8-year-old Joshua Austin.

The House of Cards actor joins as Giles, is Rome's chief of police and a poker buddy of Anderson's. The Law & Order: Criminal Intent actress will play Sarah Barns, Kyle's mother who thinks he is suffering from a mental illness. Known as Reese's therapist in Person of Interest, Schmidt is Megan Holter, Kyle's adopted sister and a child psychologist. Fishing up the cast is Ray Donovan as Mark, Megan's husband who doesn't believe in demonic possession.

Wingard, who has made horror fans happy with his films, The Guest, and You're Next, has signed on to direct the pilot.
