Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer is having some of the worst weeks of her life. The reality star just announced she won't be returning to the show that made her famous amid accusations of infidelity by her husband Jeremy Calvert. Now, we can tell you the real reason the mother of three is leaving the MTV show.

According to Radar Online, Messer, who is in a custody battle with her ex-husband Corey Simms over their twin girls, Ali and Aleeah, is afraid she will lose them because of the show.

"Leah's final court date is coming up, and her behavior on the show made her look really bad to the judge," a source told Radar.

"Leah's daughters are her number one priority," the source continued. "Now that the show could lead her to lose custody, she's ready to leave her reality TV life behind."

In a scene from TM2, Leah was seen being very lethargic on a phone call after taking medication for anxiety and panic attacks. This led many to speculate that the "teen mom" was abusing drugs.

"We think Leah could be taking powerful painkillers including Lortab and Percocet," a source told the site. "They are very easy to get on the streets in her hometown [in West Virginia]."

As MStars News reported, the MTV star is still trying to put the pieces of her broken marriage back together after her announcing on Twitter she will be departing her reality show.

When asked by a fan on Twitter, "Are you doing season 6?" she bluntly answered, "No."

Messer then spoke of her co-stars Janelle, Chelsea Houska, and Kailyn Lowry, saying, "I hope my girls continue to move on with TM2. I wish them the BEST xoxo... My girls still do what they do and keep things going!"

Do you think Leah Messer should stay on Teen Mom 2 or is it a good idea to leave the show?
